I played this game for a couple of hours earlier today. Before playing, I had pictured a cute and cuddly version of Manhunt. I wasn't far off; you do get to cause general mayhem on a wide assortment of Care Bear wannabe's. So far, the game play has been enjoyable, but I can see it getting a bit repetitive after a while.

My one big complaint so far is the camera. At times, the camera seems to be playing a different game than I am. It will get hung regularly behind walls and doors. Granted, you can recenter the camera with a single button click, but when fighting an enemy in a doorway you will want to break your controller in two.

The camera problem is not a deal-breaker, though. I started to adjust to it as I played more. Overall, it's a good game, although I think the price may drop fairly quickly. Pick it up when it's $20.

A few people have already said that this game is kind of a love it or hate it. And before I give my take on it, I have to say that it's not so much that I hate it, per se, but more that I just found it incredibly boring. And I PRE-ORDERED this game, I thought it looked insanely fun, and the idea that you are a teddy bear that goes around murdering other teddy bears just sounds really funny and entertaining. The only reason this game earns two stars in the fun department is because the animations of Naughty Bear killing the other bears with various weapons is entertaining the first couple times.

The good:

-Cartoon violence

-Narrated by an Englishman

-Happy music, which juxtaposes the murder in-game

The bad:

-Narrated by an Englishman (who says the same things over and over again when you kill bears)

-Repetitive

-No plot

I have never really played a game before that I thought was boring. Usually no matter how one-dimensional a game is, I can put up with it for ten hours or so until it's over. I have never just wanted a game to be over, in my entire life. And that's talking about a lot of video games. But with this...I don't know. I just expected a lot more from it. I guess I'm just a little shocked that the people who took the time to make this couldn't see what a mediocre game they were making. Again, this is just my opinion, but the fact that absolutely nothing drives the story (or lack of) is a deal-breaker in any genre. You just kill other bears. And that would be enough, if they allowed you to do it in fun and creative ways. There are numerous ways to kill the other bears, but when each level consists of killing all the bears, you're going to run through all of the weapons available, and you're going to keep seeing the same kill animations over and over and over again. I don't know how people can find that fun for more than fifteen or twenty minutes at a time...but I suppose there are.

Do not spend $50 on this game. If you really want to play it, rent it. And if you buy it, don't spend more than $10. Naughty Bear looked so cool, such an original title, and then for it to essentially fall right on its face is a huge letdown. People might say I just don't get it, that the killing is an ends and not a mean to that end, that topping your high score by playing repeatedly is what is really the most fun part of the game. But for me, I could barely stomach playing each level once.

This game is truly remarkable. Not remarkable in the sense that it is ground breaking or that it brings anything new to the table; remarkable in the way that it was released as is.

This game could have been a lot of fun. The premise is hysterical. The gameplay is, well, frustrating to say the very least. The camera angles are abysmal, the controls are clunky, and the overall polish of the levels is lax.

If you spend any money on this title please make sure its nothing but a couple dollars to rent it, other than that I would suggest that you stay far away from this game.

The game basically looks like a fluffy, comical version of Manhunt. Which is why I purchased it.

The game is fun and quite entertaining as you test different weapons and objects to see their effects.

However, after you have seen what everything does the game gets very repetitive and pretty boring.

Overall, while the game is fun for a while, it will probably be a purchase you end up not finishing just because it isn't that much fun in the long run.
