We were late getting into the Nintendo DS thing. I personally dislike video games. My son is a hockey player and when he found out there was such a game, he had to have it. Especially because it has a Martin Brodeur player. He loves this game. They first few hours he had it, he had already made it to the Stanley Cup. It would entertain him for days on end if I would let him, but I keep it to an hour maximum. He would rate it a AAA+

I bought this for my 8 year old son who loves sports games. He LOVES it! He plays it all the time. Definitely a great choice for any little hockey fan!

We had never heard of the Backyard series and since my son doesn't really play on his DS I was hesitant to get it.....boy was I wrong. He loves this game (I hear they have all kinds of sports versions so I may have to check into others).
