this is a good opening tool but the pointy thing tens to bend it does not open the xbox 360 slim if your wondering but it opens the fat very nice

I had already disassembled my 360 slim when I ordered these Torx screwdrivers so I can't comment on the tool that they sent to help me disassemble the 360 but the screwdrivers worked just fine. I was able to replace the laser inside the drive and fix my 360 so I couldn't be happier!

I bought these tools to dissect my Xbox and replace the dead DVD drive. This plus a nice walk-through that I found online made replacing the drive a 1/2 hour job. I imagine that getting the case apart would be very hard without the opening tool since you need to press in on about 4 or 5 tabs at once. The tool takes care of that for you with just one hand.
