My controller looks awesome now. Only thing to remember is that you will need a special screwdriver to take on/off the screws and that the final screw is below where the battery pack goes, UNDERNEATH the serial code sticker on your controller.
Once you take all of them off be careful and its pretty straight forward. When in doubt look up the youtube videos for help.

its pretty easy to switch out the shell of a controller, i thought id give this a shot instead of buying a new controller to save money.It was a good decision, i like the lime green color and the feel of the shell, it feels like an original xbox 360 controller. the only problem i had with this controller shell was the sync button. There was no way for it to stay on, no matter how i put it. Eventually i had to glue it on the corner which worked fine. Besides that one flaw the controller shell was a great buy and ive already recommended it to friends. If you are reading this review just make sure you have a T-8 hollow tip screw driver, to take apart the old controller. Dont lose any screws in the process!over all a great buy.

I bought this shell kit because I had controller with a broken shell. After I purchased it I thought it would be cool to use the green trim pieces on my black controller and the black trim on the green controller. They both look amazing!!I only had 2 issues...
The first issue was the "connect button", I had to superglue the button to the housing. also I had to trim the button with a hobby knife because it was hitting the circuit board.
The Second issue was the screw holes. I had to press really hard to screw the two halves of the shell together. But honestly I know its screwed together tight.
Overall I am very happy with this product!
