This Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Totally different from Japanese DDR

Pump it up has 5(up left/right/ Down left/right/ in the middle) spots on your mat,

not like Japanese DDR has only 4 spots on your mat!(up, down, left, right)

The songs were SUPER popular K-pop several years ago(Still sounds fresh to me even after all those years), and

I really hope they made new K-pop songs available(so that we can update or upload new songs to the game or something)

This is a great workout/ fun activity or play.

I see this is MUCH BETTER THAN DDR(boring), and

you can creat your own MOVE, and way to step right and dance so cool.

AWESOME, AWESOME, and AWESOME!!!!

I bought this as a 17th birthday gift for my daughter. She finds Pump It Up to be superior to Dance Dance Revolution.

Much to our amazement, the dance pad controller works with DDR as well (on the X-Box). Though lacking a DDR dance pad, she had been given some DDR games and played them with the hand-held controllers up until now.

While the PIU is a far superior product, the popularity of DDR means there are more titles available, so my daughter gets the best of both worlds using the PIU dance pad for the intended software as well as the competitor!

The pad works (I used it as a remote to test it), but the game won't play! It keeps saying check for dust or scratches and there are none! It was bad right out of the packaging!

Bought another package to see if that disc would work and it doesn't. I took them both to a local game shop to try it and their original xbox consoles also can't play it! Keeping the packs for the two pads mainly and got the game disc at a store.

Honest reviews on Pump It Up Exceed Dance Bundle - Xbox

Pump it Up is a Korean-made dance game, but let me assure you, it is NOT a clone of DDR. It has five buttons in the center and diagonal corners instead of up, down, left, and right (It has u,d,l, and r too but they aren't used for dancing). The dance moves are set in stone, so no randomized patterns like DDR. They're set in a way that actually feels like you're dancing (Well, as far as a dance game goes it's the most convincing I've ever played)! I've been playing this game for two years already and just barely scratching Hard mode on some songs. Normal mode will usually flip you up enough. DDR was first part of my exercise routine but it wasn't working and was pretty boring. PUI actually has me sweating and bone tired -on normal mode. Recommended if you really like a challenge. And there's a great soundtrack too!

This game is great. I wish it had more "recent" music, but it really is something my girls love to do
