This is without a brainer, a must for MGS fans.

The Games:

The HD port for MGS3 is simply amazing while it's no Uncharted 3, it certainly still beautiful. As for MGS2, it does not look as nice as MGS3, the feel and gameplay is still solid (pun intended). Peace Walker feels and play much better than the PSP counterpart and definitely looks better in HD.

Of course the additional bonus of trophies definitely will please trophy hunters. 3 Plats to earn.

As for the physical instruction manual, it's very basic info. The full manual is a digital copy found when you select the game.

All in all, it's what is expected from an HD port.

The Artbook-

It's a nice thick hardcover artbook with all the arts from previous artbooks for MGS2/MGS3/Peace Walker. There are also some additional arts which are nice. This is something great for fans but if you're not a fan, then it's best to pass or don't hurt yourself searching for a copy of the LE.

The Box-

A hard cardboard box with a nice smooth feel. The game is set on a cardboard paper which slides into the box along with the artbook. Looks great with a bookshelves of artbooks/collectible strategy guides.

This includes MGS2, MGS3, and MGS:PW, along with an artbook that has incredible pictures of the players and mechanics in the game. The games supply hours and hours of gameplay, in addition, it has a multiplayer function in Peace Walker. It is a great buy for people new and old to the series.

I wasn't a Metal Gear fan until I got Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots limited edition for the PS3 and now that I did I've gotten this and future sequels and I gotten the 3rd Metal Gear game on PlayStation networks PS One Classics!

Been a fan since the Original game for the NES and beyond, The HD collection not only have a redefine Solid 3, PeaceWalker and Solid 2, but also the Original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 for the MSX2 that was released in Japan....I forever wanted to play the real Metal Gear 2 version.....I'm glad I've got the opportunity now after 22 plus years.

comes with METAL GEAR SOLID 2 METAL GEAR SOLID 3 & METAL GEAR SOLID PEACE WALKER. All the games look AND perform wonderfully, frames rates are consistent and the new TROPHYS are funny and thoughtful.The game packaging feels good like premium materials and you get a nice artbook with it.I have to say the games are just amazing and seeing them on my big tv in HD make my day. If you played metal gear before or its your first time ill tell you this is something youre going to enjoy. BUY IT!
