After some use with games and movies, I've come to the conclusion that this headset just isn't worth the money. The build quality is just not good. At first it didn't bother me as much, but after a week it's become seriously annoying. You can just tell that it's not a quality product each component is probably the cheapest available option. It felt like I had spent a lot of money so I really wanted them to be good but they just weren't...
It does it's job "okay" but, in the end, it's not worth $150. It just isn't. I bought a pair of Sennheiser's that will work with the PS4 and the difference in sound is unbelievable! The best part? The Sennheiser's were $50 cheaper. So that's where my PX4 experience ends. Turtle Beach is officially on my list of "popular but poor quality brands."
I'm returning my PX4s on Monday.
Cheers
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I bought this in anticipation of the PS4 release. I've been using it with my PS3 in the meantime.
Pros:
For a headset, the sound is pretty darn good. If these were standalone headphones, then I would expect better for $150, but factoring in the wireless capability and the mic, I certainly can't complain.
The surround sound works well it definitely gives you that cinematic feel.
Since it uses a wifi signal, the range is excellent. There is no signal distortion or anything of that nature.
They are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
EDIT: Adding detachable mic to the pros list.
EDIT: Adding battery life to the pros list. The battery lasts forever and charges relatively quickly.
Cons:
The build quality could be a little better. Nothing's breaking, but the plastic is cheap and the WiFi box feels hollow and far too lightweight.
Getting these to work with the PS3 was actually a challenge. The instructions don't clearly show how to set everything up. In the end I realized that I needed to hold down the "pairing" button on the WiFi box while also holding down the power button on the headphones. That was the only way I could get them to actually connect. While this is definitely not a deal-breaker, it can be sort of annoying.
Bottom line:
This is a decent headset, even for the price. I would go so far as to recommend it to anyone looking for a gaming or cinematic wireless headset. I wish the plastic was better quality, and I wish it was heavier, but other than that everything is built pretty well.
The lack of proper instructions was annoying. There isn't even a PDF on the Turtle Beach website, which is something that really should exist. Still, with some trial and error, I figured it out.
All-in-all I like them and look forward to using them with my PS4.
Cheers.

This headset sounds great, feels great, and was easy to set up, However there are a couple issues that prevent me from giving it 5.One, you can't control the chat volume OR mute your microphone when using these on the PS4.
Two, there is a intermittent yet frequent buzzing noise. It may be interference, but with Dual-Band interference free advertised, this should not happen.
Three, the buttons rattle around on the headset cups.

Headset is cheap for the $150.00 price tag. The sound quality is similar to that of the X12's also made by Turtle Beach.Honest reviews on Turtle Beach Ear Force PX4
Good headset. Surround sound and wireless for the same cost as some of the wired competition. I have two younger kids (5 and 2) and a knack for getting consumed and extremely competitive in COD; I knew if one of them tripped over the cord and yanked it off my head I would be prone to use some adult language to express my surprise.Pros: Wireless, surround sound, good sound quality.
Cons: Though marketed as "the only PS4 compatible headset out of the box" there isn't a shred of direction for setting up on the PS4. You can go to their website, though, and find the directions. It is truthfully an XBox 360 headset (even has a sticker of the controller on it) that was wisely equipped with a cable that would make it work with the PS4. Neither here nor there.
It works. Sounds good. Fair price. If I didn't have little ones and a need for wireless, I would probably have bought the Tritton 7.1's
