it's made out of a cheap plastic. i put it all together with my old controller parts and i can't get it to work, it made no sense to me because the controller worked in any other shell i had but this one. i turn on the controller and the light just flashes. i tried syncing it with my xbox but still wouldn't work. i wouldn't waste the money on buying it.

After 2 years of having the same white xbox 360 controller I felt like i needed to change color. I bought this shell in order to not buy a new one that might cost a lot more than this, and I found this item. When i got it I didn't really think it would work. I was too lazy to install the whole thing so i decided to keep the white shell and put the blue triggers, bumpers, joysticks, and d-pad. When i got to the bumpers I had a little problem...the holes in which you need to set them in were to small so i got a pair of safety scissors and carved the holes a little bigger and fit just fine. After i was done it looked very cool. In other words everything fit in just fine. When i put the whole shell on it fit just fine and had no problems.... I totally forgot, if you want to do what i did( white shell and blue buttons,triggers, etc. when putting on the d-pad just use the original screws.
