Back in 1992 this was the killer app that convinced me to purchase a Sega Genesis. It is simplistic by today's standards, and turn based, but it is by far the best hexagonal board strategy game I have ever played. I still play this game to this day on my Genesis Nomad.

This was one of my favorite games on the Sega Genesis back in the day, and I still play it in 2010 via a Genesis emulator on the Mac. The graphics may be dated, but the game itself is perfectly balanced. Whoever owns this property now would be wise to release it as a download for PS3/Xbox, without all the added gunk of sequels like the Disciples of Gaia version. Excellent game!
