I was very skeptical when buying this to fix my old xbox that has been red ringed for about 3 years. Installation was easy with their instructions. The hardest part is actually getting the case apart. It didn't work right after the installation, but the instructions have guidelines on what to do if it doesn't work at first. Its been over a month and it still works.

I fixed my RROD in about 2 hours. My only slight complaint is the instructions don't come with the repair kit, instead you are directed to a website. The instructions on the website were really good though.

I followed the on-line step-by-step procedures and fixed my RROD Xbox 360 with this tool kit. Just one thing that I noted was my Xbox 360 didn't show the two red lights when the cpu was being over-heated for 15 min. But it worked after both gpu and cpu were cooled down. Excellent tool kit. Will recommend it.

After reading such great reviews on this product I decided to try and revive my Xbox 360 Elite RROD (three lights). The disappointing results of my own experience conclude this kit does not work! After many attempts of carefully pasting the CPU/GPU with the arctic silver...then force the system to overheat as per the online directions...the system continuously freezes after only 3-5 minutes. When I power down the system and restart the RROD reappears.

Just to be fair to the seller Amazon suggested to send correspondence before leaving a one star rating and I would hear back within 12 hours. I never recieved any reply.

I do not recommend this product...but good luck if you do!
